a ministerial top prize. The facility is designed with a view to
the output increase thereafter. A rarely high production rate of
2250T/D is attainable after a toilless reconstruction.

washing of Al (OH)3 and to provide material for the 1850T/D Gaseous
Suspension Baking Furnace. The technology and equipments adopted
in the project is advanced in china and even in the world.

Seed Precipitation Facilities of the Alumina Plant of CHALCO
Henan Branch. It is a large-scale project including the fabrication
and installation of 7 seed decomposition tanks with a total weight
of 1940t. The project, which was contracted in early 2004, was completed
successfully In June that year through the persistent effort of
the whole staff.

The City Swimming Natatorium, a first-class indoor natatorium of
the province. The building, which is 15 meters high, 73 meters long
and 60 meters wide, was designed with 2 layers of framework and radiant
heating system. In the natatorium, there is a standard swimming pool,
a practicing pool and a miniature for children.

The demonstration project is one of the key constructions to increase
the Alumina output. 80,000,000 RMB was invested in the construction
of the tanks. The work could be divided into 6 parts i.e. deposition
tanks, decomposition tanks, high-efficient deposition tanks, flocculent
preparation and the construction of pump room and conduits. The tanks
are all hydraulic-powered mechanical mixing tanks.

Fxxiang Aluminum Project, in which 200,000,000 Yuan was invested,
included 2 500m-meter-long workshops and 136 sets of electrolyzing
pots. Through bidding, China Great Wall Aluminum Construction Corporation
takes on the work of 68 sets of pots and one of the workshops. Each
pot weighs 25t and the dimension is 11.5*4.97*1.9. The corporation
struggled and overcame the unexpected problem of excessive groundwork
due to the poor site ground condition. The construction was completed
4 days before the schedule and the quality was much better than the
other 3 rival contractors.

Electrolyzing pots imported to Iceland. The corporation is a dominant
producer of electrolytic aluminum production facilities. In 2004,
the corporation was chose by Nordual, the corporation from Iceland
as the supplier of electrolyzing pots and superstructures. In order
to fulfill the contract in time, a workshop was built and put into
use. Up to now, the first batch of facilities has passed the inspection
and was shipped from Lianyungang. |

Hyperbolic Cooling Towers of the Circulating Water project of CACHB,
36m in diameter and 45m in length. The project occupied an area of
3000m2. The dimensions of pools for cold and hot water are 40*25*7m3
and 50*48*8m3. In all, 800 tons of conduits were installed in the
towers and over 2000m3 concrete was applied.
